How do you make your pieces?

Hnoss Jewellery uses good quality silver wire and like the Vikings the wire diameter is between 0.4 and 0.5mm . This wire is used to both braid, knit and crochet.

Does you Jewellery contain Nikel?

All our jewellery conforms to  The Nikel Directive (EEC Directictive76/769/EEC amended 2004/96/EC) and to UK Law in “the Dangerous Substances and Preparations (Nikel)(Safety) Regulations 2005.

Therefore you should not experience any allergic reactions.

Is Your jewellery Hallmarked?

All Sterling and pure silver must be hallmarked. We are registered with the Edinburgh Assay Office and carry their stamp. This is your guarantee of the purity of the precious metal.

What do you recommend to clean your jewellery?

Because sterling silver tarnishes, we at Hnoss Jewellery recommend Town Talk Silver dip and Silver cloth both of which can be ordered from us.
